Customer Service Administrator


We have an exciting opportunity for a customer service administrator to join a great client of ours as part of a team. They are looking for someone ideally with 1 to 2 years experience within customer service would be ideal but essentially being keen and a willingness to learn is far more important.


  • Manual order entry and fulfilment
  • Effective management of customer accounts
  • Navigate around internal system (Sage 200)
  • Manage customer relationships by promptly responding to queries; ensuring promises are kept with the ability to confidently manage expectations, both Web and manual based orders
  • Communicate with other departments and individuals to provide the best possible service
  • Maintain a good working relationship with the Logistics and Sales team
  • Set up new customer accounts, regularly liaising with credit control
  • Basic understanding of the quality systems we have in place

The following skills and experience are desired from the successful candidate:

  • Customer Service knowledge
  • Motivated individual who is flexible and keen to learn the business
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a confident polite and efficient telephone manner
  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to demonstrate initiative and a positive attitude and meet daily KPI’s
  • Excellent organisational skills, time management and attention to detail
  • Comfortable in being able work alone and/or within a team environment, contributing and sharing best practices, resources and ideas in order to continually improve the customer experience
  • Have the ability to work to set standards and procedures
  • Sage 200 experience desirable but not essential
