Local company offering a fantastic package are on the look out for a Finance Assistant. This is a brand new opportunity for someone to come in and make their mark…Study support including!!!!

This company is growing and the “right candidate” for this role will be growing with them.

 

This is a highly diverse role. The role is 50/50 Finance and Business Support – supporting daily tasks to enable further Company growth. This will be a full-time office-based role at their UK office in Bishop’s Stortford.

Your main responsibilities will be:

” Provide support to colleagues within the team.
” Customer Relationship Management (CRM) System data entry and management.
” Monthly Management Accounts creation and Key Performance Indicators (KPI) monitoring.
” Fixed Assets management, calculating and posting depreciation journal.
” Bank Reconciliation.
” Cash flow forecasts.
” Invoice generation and query resolution.
” Credit Control.
” Manage project documentation within company systems.
” Reconciliation and calculation of VAT, submitting return on HMRC and posting of VAT journal on accounting system.
” Running Aged Creditors and Aged Debtors report, responsible for ensuring ledgers are tidy.

 

Person Spec:
” Ideally started your ACCA / CIMA / ACA Qualification (or equivalent), and already posses a relevant qualification (e.g. Accounting, Business, Maths)
” Ability to work in a proactive and autonomous manner as well as being part of a team.
” High attention to detail.
” Ability to balance competing priorities and complete work within a set time-frame.
” Good organisational skills.
” Excellent computer literacy and competency in MS Office programs.
” Well-developed verbal communication and presentation skills.
” Some experience of accounting systems, preferably Xero.
” Ambition to progress your career in finance.
” Commercial experience is not a prerequisite for this position.
