We have an exciting opportunity to join a family run business working within insurance as a sales advisor handling both incoming, outgoing queries as well as new business and renewals.
Key responsibilities and accountabilities:
- Manage renewal of existing customer policies in-line with diary system to achieve targeted 85% renewal retention monthly
- All forms of daily customer queries & correspondence including new business, mid-term adjustments and renewals and their subsequent follow-up
- Full understanding and confidence in product portfolio; motor, home, travel & simple commercial risks
- Full knowledge & understanding of the SSP system for client data & risk retention.
- Development & growth of personal lines products within the existing customer base
- Further canvassing of new, existing and previous clients for commercial opportunities
- Target: 15 qualified canvassed leads per month
- Added value sale of policy add-ons
- Representation at external business networking
Requirements
- Fast learner and a passion for customer service
- Self-motivated with a results-driven approach
- Good organisational and time management skills
- IT literate
- Full UK licence & own transport would be a benefit
- Previous retail or telephone sales experience would be a benefit
Working hours:
9.00am – 5.30pm Monday-Friday & 9.00am – 12pm every other Saturday
