Part time Purchase Ledger Clerk

We have a fantastic opportunity for a part time Purchase Ledger Clerk for a fantastic client of ours based in Bishops Stortford.

 

Purchase Ledger

  • Input of Purchase Ledger invoices
  • Ensure all Purchase Ledger invoices are approved for payment
  • Deal with suppliers for any price/quantity discrepancies
  • Take calls from suppliers regarding payment date and queries
  • Input of Purchase Ledger payments onto banking system for authorisation
  • Prepare Supplier Reconciliations, follow up any reconciling items
  • Assist Management Accountant with Payment run preparation

 Other

  • Assist with Sales Ledger as required
  • Assist Sales Admin with credit note queries and add hock Analysis as required

Requirements

  • Experience of working in the finance Department
  • Attention to detail
  • Can do attitude
  • Work as part of a team

The hours of work ideally would be spread across 4 days and working between 16-20 hours per week.
